A Letter from a '90 Class Student!

The following letter is digged from visitors' comments posted two years ago. It is so sweet that I'd like to share it with more people.

Hi Jan,
I have been thinking about my life in "Xiada" lately and I am happy to find this blog. I just heard that you have gone back to US due to health reason, I wish you the best and hopefully you will come back to China and Xiamen someday. Twelve years passed by since I left Xiamen. I must say I was not a good student when I was in school, like lot of other students, falling asleep all the time in the class. But strange enough, I feel that is one of most valuable 5-year in my life. If I could turn back time, I would do much better.Anyways, wish you the best luck!
